Sabic Doors and Millwork Ltd. Located in Richmond, BC is recruiting full-time and permanent workers for the position of Cabinetmaker. The person should have higher secondary education along with a relevant minimum of 1-2 years of work experience.
\nThe successful candidate must be able to perform the following job duties & responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made, or prepare specifications
\n\u2022 Mark outlines or dimensions of parts on wood
\n\u2022 Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components
\n\u2022 Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws or other fasteners
\n\u2022 Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products
\n\u2022 Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products
\n\u2022 May estimate amount, type and cost of materials required.<\/p>\n
We pay a competitive wage of $25.00- $32.00\/ hour, 40 hours per week.
